Summary of the Video Review:
Cons
- Could be better indexed for easier access to various plans. Having an alphabetical order for the plan list would be helpful.
- Some plans are drawn from a few years past (black & white pictures) so you get a combination of 'old' and new. This is less cohesive in feel than buying single-project plan book.
Pros
- Massive resource of plans. Having so much choice really counter-balances the fact that some are dated. And you might actually appreciate the fact that there are some less modern designs included (retro look anyone)?
- Permanent access to the members' website means that you don't have to download all the plans at once if you don't want to, but pick and choose as you need them.
- The PDF format for plans means that you can enlarge them them for easy viewing, and search them easily using your PDF reader keyword search function. This makes up for the lack of alphabetized indexing. Plans are easy to manage and when you are ready, you can print them for use as project blueprints.
- The fact that these plans are not in a printed book format means it's the 'green' option. No trees were destroyed to make this package!
Recommendation:
Highly recommended. Easily worth 10 times what Ted is asking.
